How does Registration work?

I enrolled in my classes, has my payment gone through?

 

Online payments are not automatic.

Once you enrol in classes, you are not automatically charged until we manually do it from our end. During the summer months, we post and process fees on Mondays and Fridays.

September fees (including your one time registration fee) are due upon registration. Your next subsequent payment is not due until October 1st.

Monthly fees will be processed on the 1st of each month from October to June.

What’s the difference between Registration and Enrolment?

 

“Registration” is for new students. Before a dancer can enrol in any classes, parents must fill out our online registration form. This puts your family into our data-base so you can log in to your Parent Portal and enrol in classes.

“Enrolment” is for dancers who have registered for our online data-base and set up their Parent Portal. This gives you access to our full schedule to enrol and pay for classes.

Before you enrol, make sure you have emailed us with your class requests. We will send you a highlighted schedule of class options for your dancer(s). Please note that an administrative fee of $25/class will be charged for every mis-enrolment.

What is your withdrawal policy?

 

If you withdraw prior to classes starting in September, you will receive a full refund minus the registration fee and a $25 administrative fee.

If you withdraw before October 31, 2021, we will stop collecting payment for your remaining classes minus 30 days from the date of withdrawal. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Any withdrawals after October 31, 2021 will continue to pay in full. The only exceptions are if a dancer moves out of the Vancouver area or has a valid doctor’s note.

All withdrawals must be communicated via email.

How do monthly payments work?

 

Because some months have more than four weeks and some months have less, we have divided payments into 10 monthly instalments of the same amount.

Monthly fees are processed on the 1st of each month.

You can change your payment method via your Parent Portal as many times as you like throughout the year. We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard.

I’m not receiving emails… am I doing something wrong?

 

When we contact the whole studio, we use Jackrabbit Dance which is a third party service that certain email providers will detect as spam. Please check your spam folder regularly!

We have also historically had problems with Telus email accounts. We often get delivery failure notifications when Telus accounts are blind copied. We will do our best to keep our website up to date with all important info.
